On January 24, 2011 the West Des Monies City Council approved the formation of a Public Arts Program which included the establishment of a seven member, four year term Public Arts Advisory Commission. This commission advises the City on the selection and installation of public art throughout the city.

The West Des Moines Public Arts Advisory Commission meets monthly the fourth Thursday at 5:30pm.  For information on the Commission please contact WDM Parks and Recreation at 222-3444 or ParkRec@wdm.iowa.gov.
