West Des Moines GREEN Team
The City of West Des Moines is committed to using practices that demonstrate environmental stewardship. Starting in 2007, City-wide meetings are held to educate staff from multiple departments on environmental issues and to generate ideas about what environmental initiatives could be undertaken by the city. One result of this meeting was the formation of the GREEN Team. The City's GREEN Team meets monthly to plan environmental projects and events.
