Yard Waste Collection is available to all residents who are eligible for solid waste collection (from single-family homes up to and including 4-plex units).  Metro Waste Authority administers yard waste collection for West Des Moines residents.

Yard waste is picked up on your regular garbage collection day. Please place bags at least three (3) feet from your garbage and recycling carts and make sure you get them to the curb by 6 a.m. to ensure collection.
