Public Education Programs
Fire Station Tour: The fire department opens its doors and provides station tours for groups of all ages. These tours provide citizens the opportunity to see where firefighters live and work, and the apparatus and equipment we use to respond to emergencies. Please note the group size may be limited.
Presentations: If your school, club or organizations would like a speaker on fire prevention, we can stop by one of your classes or meetings.
Community Services
After the Fire: The purpose of this program is to provide our citizens with useful information to aid in the adjustment and recovery period after a fire has occurred.
Evacuation Planning: The fire department is involved with local businesses and corporations in emergency planning and evacuation drills for their employees.
Fire Extinguisher Training: Our fire department can provide fire extinguisher training for area businesses. Training includes video demonstrations and hands-on fire extinguishing. (Some fees may apply.)
