Squad and BuildingThe Patrol Operations Division is responsible for all uniform patrol activities. 

The 35 Patrol Officers and 1 K9 assigned to this division are under the direction of a captain, two lieutenants, an administrative sergeant, and six platoon sergeants.

The division currently has five patrol territories, as well as additional officers who act as rovers to ensure effective coverage for the city and to provide back-up for the territory cars. Officers assigned to this division work 10 hour shifts with a on duty/off duty rotation of 5/4, 5/4, 6/4. One full shift a month is dedicated to training and officer development and an additional full shift is dedicated to directed patrol strategies. 

The division uses data driven and community oriented policing philosophies to ensure proper resource allocation for the highest visibility and protection for the community.
